University of Birmingham Old Joe Event!

Last weekend we welcomed around 100 sailors and visitors to the club as we hosted the Nautica University of Birmingham Old Joe Team Racing Event.

The weekend was met with strong gusty winds and big parties as 78 races were sailed over the two days against 13 teams!

Congratulations to Rutland Raiders for winning the event! East Fife in second, and West Oxfordshire SC in third rounded off the podium. Especially well sailed to our home team finishing 6th overall.

Big thank you to all the volunteers throughout the weekend who made the event possible!
