The aim of Power Boat Level 1 is to provide a practical introduction to boat handling and safety in powerboats. It covers boating techniques for launching and recovering a boat from a road trailer, mooring, everyday boat handling and the use of safety equipment. The course is conducted in both planing and displacement boats and the certificate issued will be endorsed to show the type of boat in which the training took place. A one day introduction to Powerboating with no previous experience required. Participants must be fully paid up members of SSSC and no less than 16 years of age.

£30.00 Charge for course materials, no further charge for Power Boat Level 2 and Safety Boat Course unless replacement materials are required. Please also book on to November Power Boat Level 2 if you would like to do this.
