Lark Open 2024
On Saturday 18 boats joined us for our annual Lark Open Meeting sponsored by Craftinsure! Large shifts and gusty conditions challenged our sailors and left very little room for error, so a massive congratulations to Stuart & Nick Hydon from Shustoke Sailing Club for winning the event, and also to Ed Bradburn & Holly Evans (SSSC), and Chris and Nic White (SSSC) for claiming the other medals! SSSC Sailor Places Well at RYA Youth Nationals!
Over 300 of the UK's best young racing talents battled it out in tough conditions at the 2024 RYA Youth National Championships, held at the Weymouth & Portland National Sailing Academy during the Easter break (1-5 April). The annual celebration of youth racing is open to a range of sailors, from those experiencing their first season in the youth classes as well as those vying for the podium spots and a chance of selection
