Discover Sailing For Free At SSSC – 25th April
Are you looking for a new way to get outdoors and active or find something you can enjoy together with the family? If the answer is yes, South Staffs Sailing Club is inviting you and your family to come and try sailing for free on Saturday 25th April.
Whether you’re completely new to the sport or looking to get back on the water, this is the perfect time to give it a go.
“We’re inviting the local community to come down to have a go at sailing, see what the club has to offer and get involved. Who knows, you might just get hooked!” commented James Ashworth, Vice Commodore.
Starting at 10am, on 25th April there will be a whole host of activities taking place ensuring that anyone and everyone can get out on the water with experienced club members.
We look forward to welcoming you to our friendly club. Our experienced volunteers look forward to taking you out on the water, and share their enthusiasm for sailing. Tea and cake will be available afterwards in our comfortable club house. We are happy to provide you with buoyancy aids but it’s best to bring some warm clothes that you don’t mind getting wet in, just in case! There are comfortable changing facilities on site if required.
Sailing can be as physical or as relaxing as you want to make it, you can sail with others or on your own, do it competitively or potter about and just enjoy the gentle escape of being outside in the elements.
