Friday ‘Indoor' Race Night

Come along on Friday 14th June for a fun filled evening and have a go at indoor sailing, helping us to raise lots of money for the RNLI in the process. Could you be our indoor sailing champion?

We are holding this indoor race as an alternative to the usual auction but guarantee that there will be just as much fun and everyone will be able to compete. The specially designed wooden boats are currently being manufactured and prepared for the evening which will start at 7.00pm - there will be tote betting and prizes for the winner of each race and the overall champion from the grand final.

There are 36 helming spots up for grabs at £3 each which will be sold on a first come first served basis in advance of the night. The "entry" list will be placed on the club notice board on 26th May. There will be 6 races with 6 boats in each and then a grand final for the winner of each to find the 2012 indoor sailing champion. There will be tote betting for each race - £1 per bet.

You can also participate and be in with a chance of winning a prize with a personal sponsorship and naming one of the six races for £10. With one race already sponsored, there are now only 5 races left - an ideal option for those who would like to participate but can't make the actual night.
